I'm a textile artist working out of my tiny studio in the South East of England, just a stones throw from London where I create stitched representations of nature.
I come from a family where all of the women were prolific with a  needle and thread, and although it took me a while to really fall in love with it, that skill is in my veins. 
Driven by a passion for creativity, I chose to follow an artistic path and earned a degree in 3D Craft, with a primary focus on the intricate and expressive world of textiles.
I use free machine embroidery on a water-soluble fabric along with other materials to slowly build up the textures and colour that help to bring my snippets of nature to life. The woodlands near me  provide  constant inspiration as I explore the undergrowth , always searching for those little hidden treasures that will spark off another little stitched natural form.
